Tim Practice Owner & Principal Physiotherapist Practice Owner & Principal Physiotherapist
Tim Wright graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004, then ventured into private practice. In his early career Tim was fortunate enough to play rugby union at an elite level, with both The Brumbies and The Australian Sevens. During this time, he had exposure to Australia's best physiotherapists and sports doctors, teaching him techniques he uses in his practices today. Drawing on his personal experiences and clinical experience in the local area, Tim established The Wright Physio in 2011. Throughout his career Tim has personally suffered everything from minor muscle strains to multiple reconstructive surgeries and knows firsthand the focus and dedication required to rehabilitate. He has a strong empathy for his patients and understands the limitations, setbacks, and pain of injuries.
Luke Senior Physiotherapist
Previously London based, Luke has years of physiotherapy experience within the world of sports and the UK’s NHS, treating a wide range of injuries and conditions. Luke has always had an interest in sports and medicine and has a passion to help others achieve their rehabilitation goals. Luke holds degrees in Sports and Exercise Science and Physiotherapy. He has specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, managing complex and challenging presentation cases. Within his work he has a particular interest in strength and conditioning, rehabilitation and facilitating a return to play.
George Senior Physiotherapist
Coming from New Zealand’s’ South Island, George graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and continued his studies with a post graduate certificate in Sports Physiotherapy. George comes from a strong clinical background, with years spent in private practice as well as working alongside various sporting teams, including time with the Otago Volts Cricket team. Over the years he has developed a particular interest in cervicogenic headaches and their relationship with concussion in sport.
Ciara Senior Physiotherapist
Originally from Ireland, Ciara has a diverse background in sports physiotherapy, and her passion to pursue further study in the field lead her to complete a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine. Ciara specialises in dry needling, Pilates, strength & conditioning, and sports-specific rehabilitation; she has also undertaken extensive research on hamstring injuries in field-based sports. Ciara has a wealth of knowledge and experience attained through her career and has worked with an array of high-end sports teams in the United States, the Warriors NRL Academy team in Auckland and in private practice at the international Les Mills headquarters.
